Tuuci to Participate in Salone del Mobile 2022 in Milan

For the tenth consecutive year, Tuuci, the Miami-based sunshade manufacturer, will participate in the Salone del Mobile, Milano. With an impressive exhibition concept styled as the outdoor space of a luxury hotel, Tuuci’s display will provide inspiration for architects, designers and industry professionals, while helping visitors enjoy a brief holiday escape.
The Tuuci exhibition stands as a summery, relaxed hotel terrace, with a variety of Tuuci shade structures displayed throughout green areas, paved patio zones and an outdoor bar. This year’s design focus will include an update to the company’s textile collection for its high quality parasols. Defined by outstanding quality and durability, the new range of seawater-resistant, high performance textiles also has much to offer in visual design. With 28 carefully selected, contemporary colors, the collection meets the needs of every commercial design project.

Tuuci’s flagship product, the Ocean Master MAX Classic Cantilever parasol, will welcome visitors at the entrance of the exhibition. With canopies that cantilever from a lateral post, the entire space below the parasol becomes an expansive shaded area. Premium upgrades will include LED lighting, heating and a motor to automatically open and close the parasol, offering maximum comfort in the evening or on cooler days. Other customizable features will include a square canopy and a mast finished in the sophisticated “Weathered Aluma-TEAK” wood look, making it an ideal parasol for luxurious pool facilities. These parasols are also equipped with the innovative Northstar mast, which is characterized by a channel and ridge architecture. Fine polished aluminium struts run along the mast, allowing freely configurable modular combinations.
The minimalist Ocean Master M1 Classic center post parasol marks the bar area in the Salone display. The featured version includes an octagonal canopy and an elegant powder coated mast in deep black. Creating a playful look, the edges of the sand-coloured canopies are decorated with green fringes. This visually appealing sunshade also features a cantilevered canopy and a mast in Weathered Aluma-TEAK finish.
The modular Solanox Cabana transforms every patio, pool and garden landscape into an open-air living room. Used as a pavilion, with seating or a daybed, it can be completely customized and offers technical refinements such as heaters, LED lights and a fully automated louvered roof, adjustable by sensors to different weather conditions.
New High Performance Textile Collection
For its hand-sewn parasols, Tuuci offers a new range of color-fast, marine grade acrylic fabrics. Due to their outstanding quality, the UV-resistant, high performance textiles are particularly robust and durable, lending shade products the necessary resilience to withstand even the most adverse weather conditions. For the design of outdoor spaces, a range of 28 contemporary colors caters to every individual preference, from subtle neutrals and earth tones to maritime nuances of bright red, yellow and turquoise.
